AARP

No longer hired,
Not yet expired,
They're now retired,
And leisure-mired.
With IRAs as fat as toads
They've bought RVs and hit the roads.
They've strapped on bikes and a canoe.
They've hitched behind a car or two.
They've severed any ties that bind
And off they go on trails that wind
To coastal climes and sunny shores
For rounds of golf and fun outdoors.
An ax to grind?
No, I don't mind e'm
Until I find
Myself behind e'm!
