About the Author
A native Hoosier, Helen, lived in Indiana for most of her eighty-plus years. She started writing down her rhymes when she was ten and in the fifth grade of a two-room school in western Indiana during the Great Depression, and she didn't stop.
She was a wife, mother of three, grandmother of six and great-grandmother of one. Her children presented her this web site for Mothers Day, 2005.
Helen, I have learned many things from you through the years and mostly from your example. You are missed!
